Plot[]

Shortly after arriving in Larissa, Chief Massoud partnered the player with Phoebe, believing she could remain focused on the task of finding Ariadne's harp at her and her husband, Dionysus's, anniversary bash. An angered Phoebe quickly commented about how she hated wearing dresses before Thalia Callide approached them, laughing about how she and Ariadne had been drunkenly pulling pranks on attendees. Phoebe asked if she had found the harp yet, to which Thalia denied. Suddenly, screams echoed from the lit ruins and the pair rushed to the site, only to find patrons screaming at harpist Ariadne's body, her limbs bound and her head submerged in wine. A deflated Nicoletta skipped her usual flirtations and got straight to the point, confirming Ariadne's lungs filled with wine after her killer held her under. First questioning Thalia, she guided them to Pineios bridge where she had last spoken to Ariadne. There, they suspected Goddess Circe and a grief-stricken Dionysus, God of Wine and Ariadne's husband. Soon after, Phoebe and the player recapped at the party where she insisted they solve the murder fast so she could burn her dress. They then heard the branches behind them crack; a figure running into the distance.

Despite their attempts to follow the figure through the winding woodland path, the pair lost them into the trees. A furious Phoebe kicked a nearby stone, before they agreed to continue the investigation, labelling two attendees - artist Andrew Night and muse of tragedy Melpomene - as suspects. Soon after, they discovered Ariadne's lingerie in Thalia's bag, the latter confirming they had a friendship with carnal benefits. Circe was also confronted after it was discovered she turned Ariadne's favourite butler into a pig, though Circe insisted it was only a harmless prank. Afterwards, the pair returned to the party, before a drunken Leo approached. He held his drink up high and hiccupped, revealing he'd seen Ariadne's harp. They assisted a tipsy Leo to the bridge, where the harp was missing. He then held his forehead and promised he'd seen it, relaying how after he'd found it, a person approached him and plied him with wine, before telling him to find the pair while they looked after the harp. Phoebe demanded to know who, but Leo shrugged, divulging it was all a blur. With a heavy sigh, they returned Leo to the caves, before discovering Andrew infuriated Ariadne with an unflattering portrait, Melpomene wrote a poem about the tragedies of the victim's life, and that Dionysus wanted a divorce due to Ariadne's infidelity, despite her pleas to stay. Finally, they uncovered Circe to be the killer.

The pair of hunters confronted the Goddess, who gawkily twirled her hair and told them they were confronting the wrong woman. Phoebe rolled her eyes and presented the evidence, including the DNA found on the ropes used to bound Ariadne. Despite Circe's egregious attempts to deflect the accusations, Phoebe verbally disarmed her, angrily telling her to drop the act and that the 'party' was over. Circe conceded, kneading her wrists vigorously as her sheepish grin turned into an angry snarl. She divulged that she did indeed kill Ariadne, but all her actions were out of love for her demigod children. Elaborating, Circe confessed that, after helping the Unity revive Leo back in the North, she was tasked by Persephone and Hephaestus to get Ariadne's harp by all means necessary to repent - otherwise, her demigod children would be slaughtered. A fiery maternal urge was set aflame as Circe agreed, though she was only able to find Ariadne at the bash. She watched from afar as Ariadne plied herself with alcohol before stumbling to the murder site. There, she debated with Ariadne to give her the harp's location, but Ariadne vehemently refused. A fight ensued, before Circe bound Ariandne and continually dunked her head beneath the wine in the barrel to torture her. Despite Circe's best effort, Ariadne stayed silent as Circe ultimately caused her accidental death by drowning. When asked where the harp was, Circe explained she'd followed Leo to it, and once he'd found it, she'd tricked him into giving it to her. Phoebe lunged at her and tied her hands, though Circe insisted she'd never say where she took the harp. Back at the caves, they debriefed Aisha who held her forehead wearily. Suddenly, the branches above them snapped as Sammy Duncan fell down, looking up at them cautiously.

Sammy frenziedly scrambled to his feet and tried to run away, only for Apollo to grab him by his hand. Phoebe then declared she was taking Circe to the cells as Aisha decided to speak to Sammy. A sweating Sammy skittishly stated he didn't want to die, despite Aisha assuring him they wouldn't harm him. Eventually, Sammy confessed that after creating the syringe for them, he became suspicious and elected to follow them to learn more. Holding her head, Aisha then chose to tell Sammy everything about the Unity - revealing the truth about mythological creatures, their fight against the rogue Gods' and Typhon. Shell-shocked, Sammy was at a loss for words, but eventually, he quietly declared he wanted to help them. Dexter agreed the help of a talented engineer would come in handy, but Sammy soon divulged he had a problem: he was uploading the footage he filmed to the internet. The engineer then directed them back to his caravan in the ruins, meaning they had to rush there to stop the upload process. Soon after, Sammy entered his passcode and disabled the upload, breathing a heavy sigh of relief. Aisha then reminded Sammy nobody could know the truth, and that if the knowledge of mythology was made public, people would panic and be hurt. The engineer acknowledged this, sincerely apologized for his dishonesty and promised it wouldn't happen again. He then told them he'd get out of their way, but asked them to call whenever they needed help. Nicoletta also collected a vial of Larissa soil for companionship after her breakup, which she named 'Montmorillonite'.

They then returned to the caves, only to find a hungover Leo trying to calm an angry horse with a large scar over the left side of its face. An angered Aisha demanded Leo put an end to his drunken shenanigans, but Leo shakily insisted the horse was Phoebe. Alarmed, Leo explained that while the team were away with Sammy, Circe had transformed Phoebe into a horse and fled. Without their tracker, the team gracelessly attempted to follow the footsteps back to Larissa, leading them back to the woodland trail. In a large and empty pit in the ground stood an open wooden box, only a small and faded letter remaining. Olympia hurriedly analysed the note and eventually restored the writing. The tech expert then gravely promulgated that the letter was from Circe, telling them she had claimed the harp and would pass it on to Persephone. The note then ended with an apology for her actions, but a promise that her children would always come first.

The Unity rapidly regrouped and tried to discuss their action despite Phoebe's loud and enraged neighs. Knowing the harp was their only way of closing Pandora's box, they resolved to finding Circe, reclaiming the harp, and restoring Phoebe to her human form at all costs. Tiredly, Leo claimed Circe's residence was rumoured to be the island of Skiathos in the Aegean Sea. Returning to the bash one final time, they consulted Thalia over borrowing a Hetros boat to travel to Skiathos. She winked and agreed, telling them to not have too much fun without her. Agreeing that following Circe was their only chance at stopping Persephone opening a portal to Tartarus, the Unity - and horse - hurried after her.
