Amber Alert is a case appearing in Hidden Missions. It is the second case in Acropolis Airport and the overall season.

Plot[]

The A.P.D. received a homicide report from the mansion of Osprey Airlines’ CEO Alastair Hahn. Setting the airport thefts aside, Chief Fellowes tasked the player and Amrita to investigate the scene, where they find the dead body of Amber Oliver.

Throughout the investigation, Daniel informed the two agents about a bar that Amber frequented. Amrita and the player also encounter Emily Hendrix's lost beagle and returned him to his owner. In the end, all evidence prove that Amber's killer was Alastair’s chauffeur, Edward Jarvis.

Initially denying the accusations, Edward finally admitted that he committed the murder, as well as revealing himself as Amber's husband. Edward explained that he and Amber were conning Alastair into giving them 10 million dollars. Their agreement was that they would share the money fifty-fifty. However, Edward discovered that Amber was planning to keep the money all to herself, so he confronted his wife in Alastair's office, ending with him shooting her dead. Edward was then put on trial in court, where he was sentenced to 35 years in prison by Judge Bishop.

After the trial, the A.P.D. shifted their focus back to the airport thefts. Amrita and the player seek the help of airport security chief Leonard Merrill to find out how the thieves bypassed the security procedure. Leonard told the two officers to search for a copy of the airport’s security files, which they found in Alastair’s desk. Upon analysing the security plan alongside with the theft patterns, Daniel discovered that the thefts during the plane’s flight. Daniel also figured out that most of the thefts occurred in Osprey Airline flights, prompting Amrita and the player to speak with Alastair. Upon being confronted with the police’s findings, Alastair launched an internal investigation within his own airline.

Meanwhile, Max reported that there were suspicious activities happening in the Midwestern Bar. Upon arriving in the bar, the two officers find a mysterious metal case with a radioactive sign. According to Wendy’s analysis, the case contained Herculanium, a radioactive mineral. Wendy also discovered that this Herculanium is used by biotechnological company FrostTech, leading Max and the player to return the case back to FrostTech’s CEO Darius Frost, who was unaware of the lost shipment.

Afterward, Max and the player were summoned back into the station by Chief Fellowes to meet A.S.I. Agent Ethan Cruz. Ethan declared that the A.S.I. are taking over the airport theft investigation as it was beyond the police’s jurisdiction. Angered, Chief Fellowes tasked the team to continue with the investigation, he sent the player to Alastair’s mansion to find more clues. Max and the player find a company calendar noting down a company dinner in Restaurant Dempsey. Hoping for a breakthrough, Chief Fellowes tasked the team to spy on Osprey Airlines in the restaurant during their company dinner.
