Events in Hidden Missions[]

Resorting to Murder[]

The player first encountered Cynthia after she discovered her husband's dead body floating face down in their rooftop pool. After calming down the hysterical Cynthia, she lamented her adoration over her husband, whom she described as a man beloved and befriended by all. Shortly afterwards, the player and Agent Wong stops a fight between Cynthia and Norman Elliott, Benedict's best friend, in the hotel lobby. Cynthia was calling out Norman for being a freeloader while the latter accused the former for being unfaithful.

Later on in the investigation, the player found burnt divorce papers in the penthouse kitchen. According to Cecile, the papers indicated that Cynthia wanted a divorce. The two agents then confront Cynthia about the matter, she simply answered that she was sick and tired of her husband's infidelity while remaining loyal to him for several years. Cynthia went on to describe Benedict's perverted habit of ogling at the hotel maids, which the player took notice and decided to speak with chambermaid Lulu Barton about it.

In the investigation's conclusion, Cynthia was found innocent after evidence pointed to Norman as the killer. Afterwards, Chancellor Rogan chose the A.S.I. as the security force for the city's annual Summer Fest, which is to take place in Sunshine Resort. After finding the Fest's files in the penthouse, the player and Agent Cruz spoke to Cynthia about their assigned role in the event, she flaunted that she was made the new owner of the resort and granted the team full access to the Summer Fest's event zone.

A Pre-Meditated Kill[]

After solving the murder of a fraud psychic, the player made a discovery that criminal conspirators Carla Hagan and Alastair Hahn had been attending anonymous meetings of the recently revived Utopian Cult. The player and Director Fellowes confronted Cynthia about the cult's activities in her hotel. However, Cynthia claimed that she had no knowledge of the events that happen in the function rooms, explaining that the hotel was open to any group that has legit credentials and that she was not one to snoop in other people's business. Despite Cynthia's explanation, Director Fellowes was unconvinced of her answer and ordered the team to investigate further into Sunshine Resort's activities to oust the revived cult.

A Swing For Death[]

Cynthia does not officially appear in this case. However, it was revealed that her late husband Benedict had brainwashed lounge singer Carrie Murray using extremely-low frequencies in her PearPod's playlist, giving her instructions to plant a transmitter into Summer Fest's stage sound set-up. This indicates that Benedict and Cynthia are Utopians and that they intended to brainwash tourists in Summer Fest to subject them into their own ideology.
