Plot[]

Eva and the player waited outside the police station for Aiden, who came after 10 minutes and picked them up before driving to the concert hall where his wife, Judy Miller, was going to perform. By the time they reached there, the concert had already started. However, they took their seat and started to listen to Judy's first song, but just when she was going to finish it, a body fell almost on her from the hall's rooftop, causing the audience to panic.

The team acted fast and evacuated the hall before inspecting the body. Both Aiden and Eva easily recognized the victim as singer Blake Orion, who was supposed to perform with Judy in a song that night. Seeing how his throat was slit, Eva concluded it was a murder and took the body to the station as Aiden and the player questioned Judy, who was visibly shaken. After questioning her, the team searched the rooftop and found a rope which was used to tie the body, which Eva analyzed and said that the victim had been murdered at least 4 hours ago, and that the killer might have tied him to give the audience some kind of message. However, university student Mina Reynolds and victim's brother, singer Kane Orion were added to the suspect list since Mina was present at the concert, while Kane had a fight with Blake about performing at the concert. Meanwhile, Eva advised the team to look for a pocket knife and deduced the killer was in contact with sulfur counting that Blake's dress was covered in it.

Later afterwards, private detective Joseph Huntington approached the team, saying that he had found out exactly where the victim was before going to the concert hall. He said he had spotted Blake at the empty Reynolds apartment numerous times. Aiden asked why it was empty, and he replied that after Mark Reynolds' mother got murdered, he decided to live somewhere else with his sister. However, the team searched the bar and found out that Blake had taken help of ghostwriter Jenny Quaid in writing some of his songs. Later on, the team also came to know that the victim had told Judy that he might get murdered soon, and that Kane had driven Blake out from their house after having a fight.

Soon after, Misty approached the team and said that someone was entering inside the Reynolds apartment. So, the team quickly went there and found Mina who was standing in front of her former house, prompting the team to ask why she was here. She said she always came to see her house to remember the past, however, the team told her to step aside as the victim was frequent here. After searching the place again, the team learnt that the victim had stumbled upon Mina a few days ago while sneaking around and got driven away, and that he had accused Joseph to be an imposter, saying he was just pretending to be a private detective. Besides, it was revealed that Jenny was willing to stop writing songs for Blake and start a career as a singer.

Finally, the team was able to obtain all the clues needed to arrest Kane for the murder.

Upon admitting to the murder, Kane said that his brother was a traitor, and that they didn't traitors lightly. Aiden told him to hold and elaborate, and he said he wasn't an idiot that he'd spill secrets like that. He said that he'd just reveal his motive and nothing else as he didn't want a lifetime sentence. Then he explained that Blake was asked to join a group of intellectuals which would help him to shine in life a week ago, but instead of joining, he decided to investigate about their group. Aiden asked why it was so bad for "a group of intellectuals" and he smirked saying that he should know better of all people, causing him to raise an eyebrow. Aiden told him to talk straight and asked how researching about a group was betraying, and Kane replied there were some secrets which required very high price and Blake just stumbled upon one, causing the leader to order Kane to kill him. He then revealed that throwing the body in a crowd was just a message to public, that they shouldn't mess with them. Aiden then escorted him to the courthouse where Judge Powell sentenced him to 40 years in jail for the murder and hiding critical information, and he laughed loudly saying that he'd be free before they could even notice.

Post-trial, Aiden said that Jospeh might have some information about the group that Kane mentioned, and suggested that they should talk with him about that. So, the team questioned him, and he said with excitement that he was investigating the supposed discrimination of actors, and that the group might be the breakthrough he needed. He then advised them to search the Reynolds apartment since Blake had gone there a lot of times after getting the invitation, prompting the team to search the place. There, they found a notebook and opened it, only to see that the diary was filled with cryptic sentences. Having no idea about those, they sent it to Marina. After analysis, she said that it was some kind of secret language and that the content of the diary was about a secret organization named ‘Gifted Minds’ whose members are satan worshippers. She also said that the organization promised fame and wealth to the members, but only to a few people who had skills, and that that was the organization responsible for Blake’s murder. Aiden muttered that Nancy Carson’s theory might not be just a conspiracy theory, and Marina nodded before revealing that the diary was Mina’s, prompting the team to question her. When asked, she said she had lost the diary months ago and that the handwriting wasn’t hers, before revealing that it was actually his brother’s handwriting, shocking the team. Knowing they wouldn’t get any help from him, the team asked her if she knew what he was up to, and she shook her head. However, she said before getting arrested, Mark told her to look for Judy’s concert, so the searching the concert hall might help them. So, the team searched the hall and found a bloody dress which warned Judy that she had done a big mistake by leaving Gifted Minds, causing Aiden to get worried and question her how she was involved, and she said she had no idea about the organization and something might be trying to frame her, causing the player to be skeptical.

Meanwhile, Jenny approached the team, visibly concerned. Aiden asked her what happened, and she replied that she was going to release her first album as a solo singer but somehow lost all the required papers at the rooftop. Aiden told her not to worry and went there with the player and managed to retrieve all the papers before returning them to Jenny, who thanked them and said that she’d sent them tickets for her first concert.

The team then returned to the station, worried about the discoveries. After sharing those with Chief Prince, she told Aiden to take some rest as he was very concerned about his wife, before saying that Susan would be joining the player soon as she had recovered from her depression. However, right then someone called Aiden and said that their discoveries was a stepping stone to their investigation, before laughing and saying that they should find out what happened to Felicia Steppingstone. He then cut the call, and Chief Prince ordered the player to go to Felicia’s home where Susan would meet them.
