Slayte is the twenty-third case in PetersCorporal's second season, Blue Coasts, as well as the second one in the New Lakeland district.

Case Background

Nora MacMillon was talking to the player about how upset she was that Hans Rougel was now a mayoral candidate, after making fun of him for years that he would never be the Mayor. During the conversation, she also told the player that the Bob Way she had mentioned during her nervous crisis in a previous investigation was actually the escaped prisoner who had killed her previous police partner and boyfriend, Jean-Paul Takeda. Suddenly, James Robert appeared to inform them that the Civic Alliance was holding an event to celebrate their participation in the elections and to announce who their candidate would be, but the celebration stopped when one politician called Martin Betancourt dropped dead out of the blue.
