Prescription: Murder is a case in Hidden Missions. It is the fourth case of the series, it occurs in the Acropolis Airport district.
Plot
Previously, Acropolis Special Intelligence received a tip-off from a mysterious woman about BioSafe's suspicious activities. The call abruptly ended, but Reed was able to trace the phone call from Venus Boulevard, Agent Wong and the player head off to the street, only to find a car crash site with scientist Sarah Alvarez dead on driver's seat.
As the investigation ensues, the player and Agent Wong encounter a malfunctioning robot in the laboratory and a contamination alert that turned out to be a drill. In the climax of the investigation, Sarah's lab partner Nora Schmidt was arrested for the murder.
Nora crumbled into admitting to the murder, confessing that she killed Sarah because she discovered Sarah tampering with her experiments, claiming that it prevented her from making a scientific breakthrough in viral immunizations. In regards to her choice of killing, Nora poisoned Sarah's car air freshener so that it would look like it was an accident when she crashes her car. Nora was then taken to court, where Judge Bishop condemned her to a 30 year prison sentence.
After the trial, Agent Wong and the player speak to Nora in prison to ask if she knew anything about Dr. Hagan's Valencian virus research. Nora said she did not know, but only heard about Sarah talking about it, she directed the two to search Sarah's apartment for any leads. The player and Agent Wong find vial samples, which were confirmed by Candy to contain the Valencian virus. The two agents question BioSafe lab manager Lucien Dupree when they found his fingerprints on the vials, Lucien answered that he was helping Sarah expose Dr. Hagan and her scheme to enhance the Valencian virus.
Meanwhile, Agent Cruz and the player decided to be more discrete in the investigation and search the clinic to try and identify Carla Hagan's research colleague, they found a business card belonging to biotechnology magnate Darius Frost. Darius was spoken to by the two agents, he confirmed that he was working with Dr. Hagan, as well as meeting her in the restaurant to receive samples of the virus. Upon hearing about the agents' suspicion, Darius stated that he was only helping her with the research, not the virus' delivery. The two agents went back to the clinic, where they found a list of names as volunteers for the Valencian virus vaccination. Reed ran through the names and Dr. Woodley and his medical team went to test them individually, only to find out that none of the volunteers had harmful reactions.
Director Fellowes gathered the team to hear any updates on their ongoing investigation, coming up with the conclusion that Dr. Hagan have other plans with the Valencian virus. The director then gave the team a new objective - to find evidence that links Dr. Hagan to the smuggling operation.
