Prof. Oliver Oxford is a main character appearing in Season 2 of Criminal Case, where he serves as the Historian of the International Bureau of Justice.

Hailing from Cambridge, England, United Kingdom, Oliver is the 42-year-old historian of the International Bureau of Justice who worked as a professor prior to his tenure in the Bureau. He is a tall man with fair skin, brown hair in a caesar cut hairstyle, and green eyes covered by a pair of black spectacles. He wears a blue striped and buttoned waistcoat, polka-dotted tie and white shirt underneath a blue striped suit. Besides that, he has a pocket watch tucked into his suit. Oliver is known to be sophisticated, educated, and experienced in his line of work.

As the Historian of the Bureau, Oliver has the responsibility of analyzing physical objects and/or clues that require historical, cultural, and/or linguistic study and research, such as artifacts, and to return the results after a certain amount of time or a speed-up process using Criminal Case Cash. His task-wait rates will vary depending on the difficulty of the task, but they all cost 1 Criminal Case Cash per 30 minutes.

Gameplay[]
As of the release of the World Edition, the player may choose Oliver from their list of "teammates" (friends who play Criminal Case and are recruited to the player's team, as well as Hanako, Leo, Chloe, Altus, Darren, and Ida) to join the investigation of each crime scene (in any World Edition case) and provide hint bonuses. He is available as a 5-hint partner.
Note that this feature is only available on the mobile version of the game.
