New Start,New Murder is a case featured in Criminal Case: Back to Past.It takes place in New Fillends and it's 1st case of the game and New Fillends.
Plot[]
Diego del Lobo and Maddie O'Malley went on a train station to greet new detective,the player.Maddie went to inform the chief Talmadge Baldwin and Diego went with player for a walk to introduce him/her to new city,but they heard a scream behind the train.They found a body of moneylender Ezra Bleak with his throat slit.
During the investigation,team got 3 suspects.2 aristocrats Bernadine Rochester and Georgina Upperton,and Inspector Jaubert.Nicholas,team's archivist,discovered that somebody from Justice Corps,organization Jaubert is working for,burned whole bank down.Jaubert said that he doesn't know anything about this.
Later on,team arrested Inspector Jaubert for a murder.Jaubert said that he is the reason why Ezra got a job as moneylender because he helped him.They had a deal where Ezra would pay back to Jaubert but he didn't wanted to do it.Jaubert went to confront him,but Ezra tried to kill him with hunting knife.Eventually,Jaubert overpowered him and sliced his throat,killing him.Judge Takakura sentenced Jaubert to 18 years in prison.
In AI,team went to check on burned bank and they discovered that all money is missing,which means that the fire is not set on accident.Team then wanted to talk with Justice Corps's head Justin Lawson,but they got another murder report...
