Plot[]

Saying goodbye to the Tin City police, the player takes with him Sunterville police detective Joseph Arnest. Joseph says he'll love their little town. Arriving at the airport, the player is greeted by his second partner, junior detective Elaina Renard. She says that they will have time to get to know each other and invites the player and Joseph to walk along the beach. Walking along the beach, the player sees that a frightened man runs out of the water and runs towards them saying that he saw a dead body in the ocean. The player and Joseph decide to inspect the shore and find the body of producer Jonathan Lauren, who was shot through the eye. Joseph says he loved his films. Elaina later says she is returning to the station to report Lauren's murder. Jonathan's body was delivered to Coroner Michael Mitchell. And the player, together with Joseph, search the shore again.

After searching the beach again, the team finds evidence to suspect three people. Bryce Buver, Stephen Stepson, and Lena Leroux. Bryce says he loved watching Jonathan's movies, and now that he's been killed, he's lost them. Stephen said that Jonathan's death would be a terrible scandal, and asked to clarify the details of the murder. Lena actually burst into tears when she found out about Lauren's death. After the autopsy, Mikhail confronted the player and Joseph with a human gut. Joseph almost threw up. Mikhail said that this is a natural reaction to human organs and then held out his hand to the player. Joseph introduced Michael Mitchell, their coroner, to the player. Then Joseph asked how Jonathan had died. Mikhail said that the victim was shot with a pistol, which requires special shooting skills. And he added that the killer must be able to shoot well. Later, Joseph and the gambler arrived at the station and began discussing the matter. Later, the team was approached by the Chief Noel Price and greeted the player, she said that the bowmen of Lauren are going to tear down his office.

The couple goes to the victim's office. There they find evidence to suspect the victim's sister Stacey, and Joseph also saw fit to interview the beach guard Jared. Stacy started to cry, and said that her Brother didn't believe anyone, why would anyone kill him. Jared said he didn't see anything, and that he was surprised when he got the news that a body had been found in the ocean. Later, the team decides to search the shore again. There they learn that Bryce is a long-time friend of the victim, and that Lena was going to write a terrible script about the victim, because he made fun of her in front of everyone. Later, the player finds the gun. The gun is sent to weapons expert Miner Jackson. According to Miner's tests, he confirmed that this gun was used to kill the victim, and that the killer left traces of hot dog sauce on the handle.

After collecting the last piece of evidence, the team confronted Bryce. All the evidence pointed to him.

When they went to his workshop, Joseph and the player said they were surprised that all the evidence pointed to Bryce. Bryce tried to deny the charges, but when Joseph ran over him, Bryce confessed and said that he was not sorry for what he had done. Bryce described how Jonathan called him names in high school, and how he once raped his girlfriend, also adding that he couldn't stand. In a fit of anger, Bryce took the gun and killed him. At the trial, Judge Clement Roban sentenced Bryce to 30 years in prison. Arriving at the station, Chief Price congratulated the player on his first solved case.
