While investigating the nightclub, Diego and Hamilton found a box of discs, in which Kalua came to collect. Kalua was then added to the suspect list, where she started complementing the victim on her dancing, and was shocked when she heard that she was dancing under drug influence and ended up dying from exhaustion. When asked whether she witnessed Gail being drugged, Kalua claimed she was focusing on mixing music.
Kalua was spoken to again after Diego and Hamilton fixed her headphones. Kalua revealed that when talking with the victim, Gail started flirting with her. Although Kalua had nothing against lesbians, she wasn’t interested in dating one, but when she rejected the victim, she took it as the wrong idea and threatened to spread false rumors of Kalua being a homophobe.
After the killer was arrested, Hamilton helped Ashley find a disc of a song she and Julian mixed, which they gave to Kalua who agreed to listen to it and use it at the party.
