Meeting Chief Frezier[]
Ingrid Bjorn sent the player as a bureau officer back to Grimsborough and Pacific Bay - now merged into a single city called Pacificburgh - as there were reports of high crime rates. The player reached Pacificburgh and was greeted by Chief Jason Frezier who introduced the player to Michael.Michael took the player to take a tour of Financial Center.
Kidnapped by The Vipers[]
Things were not going good as Tim was tracking Ash Bison and saw something horrifying - The chief of police being kidnapped by Ash, prompting the team to save Jason Frezier by rushing to Oakville Valley. The player, accompanied with Tim and Michael reached the place where Tim accidently dropped the device. After restoring the device and letting Tim analyse it, Ash Bison was found and placed in custody for assaulting the police chief.
Argument with the Historian[]
After solving the case, the police chief said that Vanessa fought with him about wasting the police time on senseless things as the Mayan Stone, and claimed that Frezier was a bad chief, before disappearing. The chief though that something was off with Vanessa's attitude as she was usually calm, and ordered the player to find Vanessa.
Gamplay[]
As the Chief of the Pacific Bay Police Force, Jason requires reports from three different "teammates" (friends who play Criminal Case and are recruited to the player's team) before he can let the player advance to the next case of Pacificburgh. Besides that, he notifies the player each time they level up in Pacificburgh.
Also, the player may choose Jason to join the investigation of each crime scene (in any Pacificburgh case) and provide hint bonuses. He is available as a 5-hint partner. (Note that this feature is only available on the mobile version of the game.)
