Foul Play is the second case in Starlight Shores.
Case[]
The player and Linda have a day of so you go to the annual Horse Race of Urban Skies. Mid-race a horse known as Spartan starts shaking violently throwing their rider off. Noticing some weird powder on the horse you have the sample sent to the lab. Naomi confirms that the powder is a craze inflicting drug known as Azinth and has been banned from commercial use so you start investigating the case as murder. Autopsy shows that the victim died of a broken back after she was thrown off her horse. The killer turned out to be Louise Thompson a fellow racer. She did not mean to kill Kayla but anger her horse so she wouldn't win the race. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison with a chance of parole in ten.
In the AI, Victor Foyle asks for your help as he has lost his trophy given to him when he won the 7th annual Horse Race. After finding it smashed up you piece it back together to its original state. You return it to him and he gives you some jockey clothes for you to wear.
You also have to go talk to Alex Thompson to see how he is holding up after his wife's arrest. He says he would like to find a photo of him and Susanne together but can't find his laptop. After you search the hospital you find a laptop using your hacking skills you unlock the computer and send it to Alice so she can find a good picture of the two of them. You then return the laptop with a picture of Susanne. He repays you by grabbing you a bite to eat.
Also you receive complaints about Louise Carries starting fights with people at the stadium. After you find evidence of this she try's to deny it but her story doesn't stick and she is charged a fee for disorderly conduct. At the end of the case you receive a distress call from an unknown number screaming for help.
