Out for the Blood is a case featured in Criminal Case where it appears as the seventeenth case of Secrets of Yahatu and the forty-seventh case overall. It's also the second one to take place in Cobblestone Village district.
Plot[]
Few hours earlier...Stefan Bross is seen driving home through the dark forest before his car suddenly stopped. Confused student unbuckled his seatbelt and went to see what's going on, only to hear wolves howling, their howls echoing through the forest. Suddenly, he felt sharp pain in his leg. Stefan turned around, face-to-face with an angry wolf with pink eyes. Grabbing a branch, Stefan fended off the violent animal before stumbling back into his car. After collecting himself, he tried to start the engine again before noticing a person wearing dark clothes sitting in the back seat. As the figure raised it's hands towards Stefan, dark smoke filled up the car...and they were both gone...
After Payton and Stefan's disappearence, Elena and Parker invited the player to go with them to the graveyard party and find more about their disappearences. After changing their clothes, the trio went to the graveyard party and started questioning people about Payton and Stefan, but got no answers. Later on, Parker and player met up in the corner of the graveyard, only for Parker to spot a dead body nearby. The duo approached the dead body and Parker identified the dead man as Jason Richards, famous QikQok dancer. After informing Elena about their discovery, the pair called Caroline to pick up the body before clearing the scene, eventually finding enough evidence to suspect prostitute Octavia Contreras, another QikQok star Ashton Lynch and their friend, model Cathy Montreal. When they met up with the rest of the team, they heard a woman screaming that she saw a vampire.
The team went to see what's going on and saw Octavia arguing with Lester Christensen for wearing fake fangs and scaring guests on the party, especially since Jason's murder has been staged as a vampire attack. After calming down Octavia, the pair questioned Lester again and decided to pay a visit to the The Boost House and search Jason's room. They eventually found enough evidence to suspect book author Virginia Lowe and also discovered that Jason shamed Octavia for being a prostitute and that he faked a video of Cathy lip-syncing racial slurs for unnecessary drama. After returning to the main crime scene, Elena told them that Ashton posted Jason's dead body on social media.
Horrified, the duo confronted the QikQok star, who nervously laughed and admitted that he thought Jason was just wasted, not dead. Suspicious of Ashton, Parker and player decided to investigate The Boost House once again. Later on, the pair discovered that Jason refused to take a picture with Virginia and called her ugly, and that Jason discovered that Ashton was stealing money from The Boost House owners. They also learned that Lester cut some of Jason's hair after he died, wanting to sell it to his crazy fans. After collecting all of the remaining evidence, the team arrested Ashton for Jason's murder.
The pair confronted the QikQok star, who laughed it off and said that he would never kill his friend and roommate. After Parker presented the evidence, Ashton confessed that he had to stop Jason from destroying The Boost House's reputation. Taking his glasses off, Ashton explained that he discovered that Jason exchanged nude photos with underage girls after convincing them that he's a vampire. Disgusted, Ashton told him to stop because the whole Boost House will suffer if his scandals go viral. After Jason refused to stop, various internet blogs learned about Jason's actions and started blackmailing The Boost House. Realizing that he's not going to make Jason stop with his entire vampire circus, Ashton decided to take the matter into his own hands. When they arrived to the party, Ashton spiked his drink and made him pass out in the darkest corner of the cemetery where he drained him out of blood with a blood pump, wanting to prove that he's not a vampire and to finally stop him. After reporting Ashton to the authorities, Parker and player returned to the party where Leona Lyons approached them, asking them if they saw her girlfriend Cathy because she's not answering her calls...
After calming down a bit, Leona explained that she lost every contact with Cathy over four hours ago. Concerned for Cathy due to Payton and Stefan's disappearences, Parker and player searched the graveyard party and found white earphones among the leaves, along with a pink nail. Parker and player sent the pink nail to Caroline Cummings, who sighed and revealed that the nail and blood on it does belong to Cathy. The duo then told Leona the news, who clutched her fist and suggested that Luz del Sol kidnapped her for their rituals, but Parker told her that the entire cult has been put under arrest for their crimes except for Rosa, and it's unlikely that Rosa kidnapped three people all alone. After Leona went home to rest and inform the police about Cathy's disappearence. While Parker and player were talking about possible solutions and about the whole situation with the village, they got approached by Virginia who overheard their conversation. Nervous Virginia revealed that she might have answers to their problems but she forgot her glasses in The Boost House after Jason made fun of them. After helping Virginia find her glasses, the duo went to the same library that they visited with Esme Laverne. Parker and player followed Virginia to the basement where she showed them her notes on everything that has been happening. Virginia sighed and begged them not to tell anyone about it since she is already fearing for her life. After taking a deep breath, Virginia showed them her old diary where she wrote about everything that happend in Cobblestone village. The pair then decided to sent the diary to Rudy, who went through it with Virginia's help and explained that there is someone or something that's behind all weird things happening in this village. Remembering her old notes, Virginia proceeded to explain that a power-hungry being enchanted the entire village and is constantly draining it's energy. When they asked her about mysterious disappearences, Virginia said that it's probably connected to everything because people have been mysteriously disappearing for years. The team then told everything to Clint Russo, who told them that he kept in touch with Esme and that she is close to finally restoring the map.
Meanwhile, Elena and player noticed that Autumn has been acting weird ever since they got in the Cobblestone village, prompting them to ask her if everything is alright. After refusing to speak about it, Autumn eventually sighed and confessed that, even though she usually doesn't feel this way, their last investigation triggered some memories from her childhood. Autumn revealed that she was born in Cobblestone village and that she got the same fate as Evan and Ansley's baby. Shocked to hear that, Elena hugged Autumn and asked her why didn't she say anything sooner, but Autumn shrugged and said that she tries not to think about her family anymore, saying how she wouldn't forgive her father either way. Autumn explained that her father, Laroy Bay mayor Jordan Crimson gave her away to the witch as his first born child, wanting wealth in return. Autumn explained that she barely remembers anything else from her childhood except that the woman who raised her had long black hair at the time and is probably much older now. Autumn then smirked and said that she doesn't want to make anyone feel bad for her, but Evan's arrest made her remember everything and made her a little bit emotional. Wanting to cheer her up, Elena and player, with Lester's help, made matching friendship crystal bracelets for her and Elena. The two friends then went to walk around the town to clear their minds.
After all of these events, Parker and player informed everyone about Virginia's discovery about someone draining the village out of energy, suspecting that the same person has something to do with Payton, Cathy and Stefan's kidnappings. Clint then told everyone that they need to inform Esme about everything since she's been trying to unveil the truth herself for years. The next morning, Autumn told everyone that Esme texted her the adress and that she's expecting them in her castle. Wanting to plan their next move, the team headed to Esme's castle to discuss their plans...
Few hours earlier, Cathy was seen walking home from the party, talking on the phone with her the boss of Silvestri Fashion. As the fashion model was walking through the warm summer night, she heard a whisper from the bushes. Worried, Cathy sped up as the whispers came closer and closer. Realizing that she won't make it to the village in time, Cathy turned around, face-to-face with a cloaked person with glowing pink eyes. When the person lunged at her, Cathy managed to fend them off by scratching their face with her nails and running back to the graveyard to call for help. After finally reaching the graveyard, Cathy realized that the party moved back to The Boost House. Before she could react, the cloaked figure grabbed her wrist, their dark fingers burning her skin at the touch before fading away in the darkness...
