Plot[]

February 17, 2011…

On the stock exchange headquarters in Cavendish Markets, a spectacle of traders and executives are rallying...taking sustenance of the city's stock graphs and data. Then, a few minutes later, an eerie scene of a masked A.I. was seen on the screens, edifying the traders that the anonymous black hat has successfully plundered the markets, perplexing the traders before the A.I. vanishes...within seconds all networks showed alert...prices going down, all revenues are negative. It was a crash of the century...a traumatizing incident for the commercial community.

Back in the present day, the team took upon Jérémy Wilson's request on investigating the occurrence involving the anonymous black hat hackers, who successfully embezzled a hefty price from the stock market, leaving the economy to crumble. Chief Murloch, went down into an unpleasant mood for an undisclosed reason and turned way stricter than before, opposing her calm and composed nature. She, therefore, assigned the player and Belinda to investigate the markets to find leads. During the sunny day, however, Belinda instead distracted herself by checking out valuable items on the markets...before sensing an unusual stench from her witchy senses. The pair then walked towards the stench's direction, and eventually staggered across the gutted body of meat vendor and local QikQok rapper, Abel Shazaal.

The pair conveyed the body to Colum for further evaluation, where he asserted the victim's throat was punctured first, killing him immediately before being gutted post-mortem. The pair then questioned the fruit vendor and the victim's business rival, Emmett Cheng about the murder, where he gave his sympathies despite being his rival and insisted they were only foes in career only. The pair then quivered across a megaphone before conspiracy theorist Zinj Sombrerotozoa approached the duo and mandated them to reciprocate his megaphone, adding him to the suspect list before augmenting buyer and socialite Beverly Simmons as a suspect after restoring her receipt after purchasing fresh mutton from the victim. While finalizing their investigation, the pair were notified by Irene, saying an executive on the stock exchange had requested to enunciate with the player regarding the slaying.

The team was approached by Giselia Bates, the executive who requested to seek us to discuss the murder. She politely revealed the victim, Abel Shazaal used to work in the stock enterprise ten years ago before leaving early to open his market business. She then presumed Shazaal might also get involved in a "fight club" as she recalled he always mumbled about fights during the endeavor. Investigating the fight club, the team eventually placed Singaporean-born wrestler Charles Gaines as a suspect after restoring the fight schedule poster. He then revealed the victim was a frequent bookmaker on the club. Eventually, the pair uncovered the truth that Emmett had sliced the victim's cardboard over revenge as the fruit vendor was bullied by the victim during high-school and that Zinj Sombrerotozoa's true identity is Rashid Shazaal, the victim's illegitimate son. The conspiracy theorist explained his father was like the devil who tormented and abused him every day, even changing his name into a laughingstock and disowned him afterward. After that, the team received a report from Shizuku, who said that before his death, Shazaal happened to post intimate videos of himself and socialite Beverly Simmons at QikQok.

With that, the team approached the socialite regarding her intimacy, and she clamored every individual has their needs, even if it means indulging your desires to the fullest. She acknowledged she had slept with various ideal men and women. However, Shazaal somehow discovered her secret and blackmailed her to intercourse with him, leaving her no choice despite her scorning the victim's appearance, correlating it to dried kelp. Regardless, the vendor discreetly filmed the scene and posted it online nevertheless, possibly harming her reputation. After the interrogation, the team eventually discovered Gisela had spied on the victim by hacking his QikQok account, which she described may comprise something dubious as she presumes he might be entangled in the stock crash as most of his video had stocks implicated. Last but not least, Charles had intimidated the victim for a fight after the vendor vetoed giving him nutrients of meat to the wrestler, all because the vendor favored his rival and warned him to get lost. After the revelation from the suspects contemplating Shazaal's true essence, the team eventually incriminated Giselia Bates for the murder.

The team confronted the executive in her office, who made an effort to politely converse her way out before conceding after the amount of concrete evidence presented. The executive sighed, saying she had annihilated him over the stress she received before recalling the events ten years heretofore, during the stock crash. She was in charge of observing and filing papers regarding incidents or troubles, which stressed her enough as there were many of them, leaving her no time to rest. In the present day, she still struggled...until she heard the rumors about Shazaal being involved in the crash, particularly after he left the industry one day after the incident. In stress, she didn't stammer to stab and eviscerate him to death as she wished her agony to cease...and lost control at that moment before discovering what she'd done, before endeavoring to dispose of the weapon and the jar of guts to frame the wrestler, Charles Gaines. The team brought the executive to court to face Judge de Paradis, who pretty much got amazed at financial aspects and even implored some questions about it, where the executive cussed at her, not yearning to hear further questions heeding the frugality as she was exhausted of her work. Ava left discontented and sentenced the executive to 27 years imprisonment with mandatory counseling.

After solving the murder, the moody Chief Murloch immediately assigned Belinda and the player to investigate once more the markets, and when Belinda protested for a little break, the Chief snapped and slammed her desk and imperiled her for a respite. Not comprehending what happened to the Chief, the pair continued their search to the markets where they eventually stumbled across a government-issued bracer. And based on analytical evaluation from Shizuku, the bracer was used as a marking for other entities such as man-made humans, robots, or other creatures. And based on the barcode, it was determined that the owner of the bracer was the conspiracy theorist, Zinj Sombrerotozoa.

The team talked to him, where he admitted his background as a man-made creature from Nexus Factory, bought from Shazaal to be his son. Aside from the revelation, Zinj happens to speculate the pair were looking for something, so he began to help where he gave his journal after the pair informed the theories regarding the stock market embezzlement. In the journal, it reads that the case was also investigated by Interpol, especially Agent Faduma Haddid. The Chief then stormed inside, muttering about Faduma being a reckless and arrogant ignoramus before telling the pair that Faduma herself is the reason she went awry as the Agent and she used to be rivals. With that, Chief Murloch wanted to chit-chat her very own rival where the two met face to face again, throwing insults to each other before the Chief questioned her about her investigation, where she refused to say anything and declared she would uncover the anonymous group of hackers and their involvement in the crash faster than her, infuriating the Chief.

Soon after, the duo got approached by conspiracy theorist Kempe Smith, where he panicked and bade something from the player before telling the player about his step-sister Jennifer's disappearance. Rodrigo then took over for protection and eventually discovered a bunch of DVDs collections, which are vastly romantic movies, and all were owned by Jennifer herself. Digging deeper, the pair found a calling card before Rodrigo realizes it was the calling card for the dubious hackers, learning she may be kidnapped by them for undisclosed reasons. With this new piece of information, the pair notified Kempe, where he began to panic and blamed himself for being a bad step-brother and wished for the police to eventually track her soon and capture the culprits before leaving to call Jamie about the news.

In the end, Irene requested to speak with the player regarding her business mogul father, Beauregard Fuelmore regarding his dubious involvement with uncertain businesses, thinking he may be a bad guy and was involved in the crash. She explained her hatred towards her father and family, calling them rich buffoons with a lack of moralities, and tagged alongside the player to find some shady items that could be linked to her father where they eventually found a ring that was confirmed to be procured illegally, and it was owned by Beauregard alone. Finding proof he was shady, the pair talked to Sir Fuelmore and accused him of being up to something where he denied all the accusations and laughed, telling their jokes are nice before rewarding them a souvenir he bought from Mazunda. When Irene tried to accuse again, the business mogul ordered his security to lead his stubborn daughter and the player outside from his company headquarters. Angered, Irene smashed her pepper spray and accidentally released it to a passerby nearby, before having thoughts that lead to a brilliant idea, by spying on her father during the business conference in the Gallinger Estate late sunset. With that, Irene told the entire headquarters, and they seem to agree as Sir Fuelmore was pretty much a suspicious fellow, before setting the scheduled time on the board...as the clock ticks ahead...
