Fidel Esposito appeared as a quasi-suspect in the events of A Fallen Hero (Case #5 of Toomeswood and Lies And Deceit (Case #6 of Toomeswood.

Later on, he appeared as a quasi-suspect in Fitness For Death (Case #8 of Toomeswood) before appearing as a suspect in the murder of opera singer Chandalena Fioradonna in A Murder Of The Opera (Case #9 of Toomeswood) and ex-mobster, Velma Keller in Into The Armageddon (Case #12 of Toomeswood).

He later made two minor appearances during the killer's trial in Cowboys From Hell (Case #16 of Toomeswood) and the events of Caged In A Rage (Case #17 of Toomeswood).

He was once again flagged as a suspect in the murder investigation of his nephew-in-law, sociology professor Oscar Riviera-Esposito in Death Comes To Lunch (Case #19 of Toomeswood) and appeared as a quasi-suspect in the events of Let's All Scream A Bloody Riot (Case #21 of Toomeswood) and May The Angels Fly Thee To Rest (Case #23 of Toomeswood) before being flagged as a suspect in the murder investigation of his great-nephew, money launderer Julio Esposito in Utter Heartlessness (Case #24 of Toomeswood).

Fidel is a 69 year old bald crime lord with green eyes, a white bushy mustache and beard. He sports a scar above his left eye and sports a pale yellow shirt with a white collar under a light purple waistcoat with gold buttons and an off white bow-tie, and wears a beige coat with gold lining over the top. Additionally, he is seen holding a cigar in his right hand.

In his second quasi-suspect appearance, he is seen wearing a white turtleneck underneath a dark green vest with brown buttons.

In his third quasi-suspect appearance, his outfit changes again to a light blue polo shirt with a white collar and is seen sporting a bronze brooch.

In his first suspect appearance, he is seen wearing golden laurels on his head as well as a white toga with a golden brooch on his left shoulder as well he sports gold cuffs and is seen holding a glass of wine. It is known that Fidel knows mechanics, loves the theatre and eats caviar.

Fidel did not appear in this case but was described by Chief Bellacoola as a notorious crime lord who had committed several crimes in Mexico but had never been arrested. He was also mentioned because the team had interrogated his estranged son, former school custodian, Miguel Esposito who was a suspect in the murder investigation but was cleared of guilt after the team arrested the true killer.

Once again, Fidel made no appearance what so ever but it was implied by his granddaughter, cheerleader Elanna Esposito as a control freak as the crime lord abhorred the fact that she was a cheerleader. Elanna had been a suspect in the murder investigation but was cleared of guilt after the team arrested the true killer.

A Devastation Of Love[]

Fidel made a flashback appearance when Miguel admitted to defenestrating his grandfather in 1991,for molesting the boy. During Miguel's trial in which he'd originally been tried as an adult and sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder, Fidel lambasted the then teenager, telling him that he would burn in hell for his actions.
