A Fate Worse than Death[]
Everett made his debut in this case, starring as the player's partner. He helped the player through their first murder investigation, allowing them to arrest their first killer in Campbell City. Soon, his role was greatened in this district when it was revealed of his knowledge of the one of the two local problems of the district, a serial killer referred to as the Man Behind the Mask, a serial killer who had not slain in the past 19 years.
Everett also helped somewhat with his knowledge of a gang of vandals and arsonists, referred to as the Soul Stealers, helping incarcerate Trevor Delacroix, Soul Stealer and general store owner.
Everett and the player first heard rumors revolving the reincarnation of the Man Behind the Mask's killing spree after analysis of a notebook (found in the same general store owned by Trevor Delacroix) revolving the murderer belonging to Nerissa Morrison, socialite and wife of the late Mortimer Morrison. Everett, shocked at the findings, told the player to meet them in Chief Ronald Harrison's office.
At the office of the chief, Everett started to explain the tale of the Man Behind the Mask and his encounter of him. When Everett was 9 years of age, he moved to the rockier parts of town with his parents. One night, Everett returned to his residence, only to find his father skinned, an eye also missing. Everett, shocked, decided that the police would be the best people to go to.
