Events In Justice Department

Business With Pleasure

David was initially encountered by the Acropolis Justice Defence Force during the murder investigation of Oriental Treasures business associate Linda Westin. David's business card was found in the victim's wallet.

After offering the player with Nebula products, David was questioned about his encounter with Linda. David simply explained that Linda and Oriental Treasures chairman, Dao Zeong, were deciding upon a business merger with Nebula, to introduce revolutionary technology to the country. David added that Linda was a gifted business dealer and was saddened upon her death.

David was talked to again after the player found a bug in Linda's broken watch. He explained that he had suspicions on Linda's involvement with Dao and the merger. David further stated that he suspected that Linda had been manipulating Dao to change his mind about the merger, giving Nebula a loss of opportunity to further develop their future digital projects in China. David then stated that he planted the bug to deal with the issue before he gets into trouble with his father.

In the end, David was found innocent of the murder after Linda's business partner, Ian Morrissey, was unveiled as her killer.

Murder Is Served

David appeared in the case as a judge for the Kitchen Warfare reality cooking show, and as a suspect in the murder of finalist Leslie Morgan.

Sentenced To Death

David was encountered again by the police after they found media mogul Gavin Van Ness murdered in his estate's front lawn, considering that Gavin and his media company Acropolis Scroll is associated with Nebula Enterprises in a long term contract. After hearing about Gavin's tragic death, David was saddened about the news, stating that Gavin was a good man as well as a good friend and that he agreed to take part of Nebula as its advertiser, putting the technological company on the front page of the Scroll.

David became suspicious after the player found Gavin's honourable service certificate torn in his office, signed by David. Initially, it was thought that Gavin tore the certificate, but David admitted that he tore the certificate because he did not deserve the award. David stated that Nebula's agenda with Sycamore Grove is to make technology more child-friendly. Gavin was against the idea and was ruining Nebula's reputation by badmouthing it on the front page. David feared over the company's reputation, especially with a virus threatening the business' mainframe. So he needed to deal with the situation quickly, but not violently, by tearing the certificate.

Again, David was found innocent of the murder when Gavin's wife, Janet Van Ness, was revealed as Gavin's killer. But he was interrogated once again to accompany the player and Elliot regarding the Supernova computer virus that is threatening to destroy Nebula. The two begin their search in Gavin's lounge room in a lookout for Gavin's research notes regarding the virus. After Elliot and Stefan had analysed the file, they came up with the conclusion that the virus has already been installed in Nebula's supercomputer, on the way to corrupt Nebula's system. David and Elliot managed to destroy the virus. Later on, David attends Gavin's funeral, prepared by Gavin's mother, Judith.

Main Street Mayhem

In the premiere case of Main Street, David encounters the police after Russian negotiator Grigori Vaselievich stumbled into Nebula Enterprises' lobby with scissors jammed in his stomach. The startled David was spoken to by the police to ask if he has seen anything regarding the attack on Grigori. David, after calming down, stated that he was late for a business meeting and he was shocked when the bloody man quickly walked towards the elevator he is on board.

David was interrogated once again after they found his fingerprints on Grigori's flyer regarding the Russians' revolutionary development of technology that could overpower Nebula. David admitted that he knew Grigori and that he turned heel from his association with Nebula to rise against the company with rival Russian technology. However, David claimed that he wanted to deal with Grigori peacefully to avoid scandal.

Once again, David is found innocent of Grigori's murder after the company's accountant, Justin Christos, was found guilty of the murder.
