Plot[]

About a week after the last case, Chief Jared Cosby asked Sherlock and Jack to come to his office. There, the chief told the two that a politician by the name of Orlando Silvestri was found dead in the mayor’s office in Town Hall. The duo rushed there immediately where they met a panicking Mayor Howard Boehner, who let them enter his office where the found the late Orlando Silvestri laying dead on the center, above a carpet with his face completely bruised and covered with blood.

After finding the body, Jack and Sherlock spoke to the Mayor who wanted the body out of his office as soon as possible, wanting the janitors to clean the blood on the carpet, but was told to dave that for later as they need to find out who killed Orlando Silvestri. From the mayor, the duo learned that their acquaintance, security guard, Brooklyn il Brillare had reported the body to him and with further investigation they found reasons to suspect Concordian heroine, Giulietta Capecchi along the security guard. Once the duo came back to the station, Regina approached them and told them that she learned something about the victim.

Regina explained ever since she turned 21, she visited nearly every bar and nightclub in New Concordia to party, and remembers she’ve seen the victim in one. She explained there is a local nightclub in Ivory Hill, just across the Town Hall where she’d spotted the victim just last night throwing cash at a stripper who wore a bright pink wig. Jack and Sherlock went to that club identifying the stripper Regina was talking about as Eyecandy, suspecting both she and music artist, Eva El Reina who sang for the nightclub last night. They also discovered that Giulietta was mad at the victim after he proposed to destroy a statue made to honor friends of hers from the now-disbanded Concordian Flying Squad and that Brooklyn was taking a close look at the victim as he suspected him of working for a rival mayoral candidate to Howard Boehner. As Jack and Sherlock were recapping the case, they got a call from Tobias who begged them to come to the nightclub as he is being attacked.

Wondering what their friend got himself into, Jack and Sherlock drove to the nightclub and started looking around for Tobias until they heard sounds coming from one of the changing room sand found two guards beating up a bruise-faced Tobias at front of Eyecandy with long brown hair instead of a wig, make-up free and wearing nothing but a pink robe. The duo asked what was going on, where Eyecandy angrily revealed that Tobias walked in her room while she’s changing so that he could perv on her. Tobias looked dumbfounded and told Eyecandy that this is a misunderstanding and that he had no idea that this was a changing room but a make-up room, telling her that he frequented the club lately and really admired how gracefully she pole danced, so he asked someone if he knew where she is as he was hoping to ask her out. Eyecandy crossed her arms and told him that she usually doesn’t hang out with men going for her looks, but since he was much more polite than Orlando then maybe she would give him a chance. Wondering what Orlando did, Jack and Sherlock decided to interrogate Eyecandy again, learning that Orlando grabbed her by her crotch while she was dancing last night, making her call the nightclub guards, causing a fight in the nightclub and when they went back to solving the investigation, they found out that Mayor Boehner was having an affair with Eva El Reina which Orlando discovered and planned to spread in the tabloids as a way to humiliate the mayor. In the end, Orlando Silvestri’s murder turned out to be Brooklyn il Brillare’s doing.

Brooklyn was dumbfounded by Jack and Sherlock’s accusations, swearing that he stopped himself from from committing any felony ever since he was taken under Antonio Marconi’s wings, but after being confronted with the evidence, he sighed and told the duo that he killed Orlando from recognition. Seeing that the duo have not understood, Brooklyn explained that he hadn’t been a member of the Italian mob as long as his fellow members, but he knew a lot about it and could recognize any member from looking at him or hearing their name. Brooklyn then revealed that Orlando is not only a politician, but also had strong ties with the Italian mob and works as a hitman for them. Jack gasped when he heard that and asked Brooklyn if Orlando was planning to kill the mayor and why, where he shrugged and told them that he doesn’t whether it was the mayor he was after or not, but his presence meant bad things might happen. Brooklyn planned to report him and came to the mayor’s office to warn Boehner, but to his luck Orlando was here, who recognized him immediately. Brooklyn panicked and told the duo that he wasn’t hoping to kill Orlando, but after the victim identified him, he was forced into getting in a fight which he used all his strength on, that end with Orlando getting killed. Brooklyn was brought to Judge Flores who sentenced him to 7 years in prison due to the murder being both accidental and self-defense.

After arresting Brooklyn, Chief Cosby approached Sherlock to congratulate him for solving the case with Sherlock, however, there is more to do. He explained that during Brooklyn’s trial, he got two calls, one from the mayor and the other from his deputy, Camila Hermonio both wishing to be spoken with as fast as possible.

Assuming it must be something urgent, Jack and Sherlock rushed to a panicking Mayor Boehner and asked him why he wished to bring them to him. Nervous, Howard told the duo that he heard of Orlando being an assassin all along and this is why he wishes to speak to them. He then panicked, and said that he was sure that he must have been Silvestri’s target since why else would he take a job as a politician as a disguise and for that, he wants the duo to search the meeting room for Silvestri’s stuff and learn who’d hired him to kill him and why, seeing that the Italian mob was disbanded, meaning someone else had sent Orlando after him. Jack and Sherlock assured the mayor they’d try their best and went immediately to the meeting room and found a phone with Orlando’s face as the lock screen, unlocking it and sending it to Regina. Regina was surprised when she looked through the phone and when the duo asked her if she found anything worthwhile, she looked at them and asked them if there had been any news regarding Nicoletta Marconi. Confused, Jack asked her what does Nicoletta Marconi has to do with this, since she’s in jail meaning it was impossible for her to have given an order, but Regina sighed and showed them texts shared between Orlando and his client who he called “Signora Marconi”. Knowing that Antonio was the only surviving relative of Nicoletta Marconi and doubting that he goes by “Signora”, it was clear to them that Nicoletta sent Orlando after Boehner, but the question was how? Looking for the answer, Jack and Sherlock went to pay a visit to the prison, passing by Warden Milton Grimmes to ask him if they could talk with Nicoletta Marconi. At this question, Milton started sweating and he told the duo he’s afraid that this cannot be arranged. Jack crossed his arms and asked Milton why so, telling him that as policemen they have the right to speak to whichever prisoner they want. Milton sighed and told him that this doesn’t have to do anything with their rights, but that Nicoletta is not here. Jack looked at him in a shocked expression and he asked the warden what he means by she’s not here, where Grimmes explained that a few days ago, the guards checked on the prisoners where they found that Nicoletta and a couple of inmates, mostly of Italian descent, had disappeared and that they found a passaged under the prison during the search which they believe Nicoletta and the others she was with had used to perform their escape. Jack frowned and he asked Milton how come neither the police or the public came to learn with this, where the warden started sweating and he explained that the prison thought it was better to keep this a secret, knowing what kind of trouble they’ll get into if anyone learns of that big breakout...

In wonder what Deputy Mayor Hermonio would want from them, Sherlock took Yuna with him to ask her that question. Camila blushed and told them that she is sure the team may have heard of the mayor’s secret affairs. Yuna confirmed this and she asked Camila how come she knows about this, where she sighed and told her that Boehner’s romantic affairs are an open secret in the town hall and Eva El Reina is not the first nor will she be the last women Howard would cheat on his wife with. What is important is that the public should not know about this or else it would seriously ruin Mayor Boehner’s career and allowing pictures of him with Eva El Reina to lay where anyone could find them is a big risk. This is why Camila asked for them, because she wants them to find whatever pictures Orlando had took of the two and bring them to her, in order for her to find any way to get rid of them. Not wanting a political scandal to happen, Yuna and Sherlock agreed to help her out and decided to check out the local nightclub which Orlando frequented, hoping they’d find the picture there and to their luck, after looking through a pile of women lingerie, they found a torn photo which after fixing revealed a photo of Orlando and Eva going spicy. They then gave the photo to Camila who thanked them for helping her save the mayor’s reputation.

After helping out the mayor from a scandal and discovering who’d sent Orlando a command to assassinate him, Sherlock and Jack told the Chief of what they discovered. Chief was furious by the news of Nicoletta’s escape, getting even angrier when acknowledging the fact the warden never warned them about it. He then told the duo there was no way Nicoletta and her crew escaped with no help, and told them to go to the prison to investigate this and see how this all happened.
