Carmen Martínez is a character from Season 3 of Criminal Case. In the fanfiction, She is an elite detective of the World Police Elite. She is also one of the two members assigned to be the player's partner, alongside Milo Grant in the Police World Tour Edition.

Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, USA, Carmen is a 40-year-old elite force detective. Before working in the Bureau, she was an investigative journalist where in she won a Pulitzer Prize. She has black wavy hair at shoulder-length and black eyes. She wears a brown jacket with silver plating and two zip pockets. She also dons a leather choker (which she leaves opened), a gold earring, and a camera around her neck.

Personality[]
She is shown to be fearless and thorough, but she is known to not trust anything and/or question what she hears at times.She is mostly Embittered, Determined and Angry but she never loses her determination at helping the player.
Personal Life[]
Prior to joining the WPE, Carmen used to be a war journalist. She became known after being blown a terrorist cell during a war in Vietnam, and event she doesn't tend to mention except with the player. It's also known that due to her journalist job, Carmen is an avid traveller and has been in over 15 different countries, like Peru.

Carmen was surprisingly flagged as suspect in the investigation of the murder of Don Dourne. At first, the team asked her about a threat note from her to Dourne. She claimed that Don was always flirting with her and she wanted to keep the unprofessional chief at bay. However, Don's liking for Carmen turned out to be an obsession was the team found a scrapbook made by Don full of Carmen photos. Carmen confessed that Dourne's behaviour brought bad memories from the past but she affirmed to not have killed him. This was proven true after the killer revealed to be El Capo Marin

- She is one of the four characters of Police World Tour who are from the canon game.
- Despite being one of the player's partners, Carmen has also worked in the lab. However, this was only during In Pain Furrows, when she analyzed a cellphone to translate a message. Per Insular Asia, a translating minigame was added, meaning that these tasks are no more available in the lab
- A fun fact of this is that Carmen mentioned to hate analyzing things, which explains why she never analyzed more clues per that case.
- She is one of the team members to be flagged as a suspect for pausible reasons
