Plot[]
Agnes Collins welcomed the new detective (Player) in the port of the district. She toured the player to Street of Therese, a famous street known for the houses around it. While walking, they heard a man screamed. And they found Colin Stokes burnt to death next to a Bunsen Burner, which was flagged as a murder weapon after the autopsy.
Mid-investigation, they found Veronica Rochester and Franca Capecchi fighting beside the crime scene. After that, Zack Taylor was found lurking outside the victim's house. After these events, the team arrested Aicha Ben Malek for the murder.
Denying the crime, she soon admitted that he killed Stokes. She said that one thing is the clear reason why did she killed him: she doesn't like Colin's Book, "After These Years...". She told Agnes and the player that he described women as the main reason of the Economic Crisis and Famine in the city in 1900s, and he quoted in a page that women are not capable of doing political duties. Agnes then told Malek that it is not a reason to kill a person and hence, it can be solved through a peaceful way. Judge Lawson sentenced Malek for 10 years in prison.
Post-investigation, Chief Matthew Polo wanted to talk to the new detective for his welcome remarks to the player, and he then told the player and Agnes that something is happening in the hotel where Stokes is frequently staying. The duo found a letter that contains Malek's appreciation to Stokes about the "job" Stokes did for Malek. The team then talked to Malek and she said that it will be kept as a secret.
After helping Narcisso Fontalera find his precious scalpel, the team decided to investigate Monologue Hotel, the place where the victim is frequently inhabiting.
