As they go on in finding the identity of these operatives, they were called in a murder investigation in the university's football oval. There, they find chemistry professor [[Simon Winthrop]] impaled to death with a javelin.

After several attempts in denying her involvement, Dr. Wright admitted that she killed Professor Winthrop because he was discredited of the theory he came up with. Dr. Wright had been out of the spotlight of fame in the scientific research field, when she encountered Winthrop in a science convention, Winthrop shared his papers regarding the theory as he admired Dr. Wright's research. Dr. Wright used this as an opportunity to write up a new book that would put her under the spotlight again. However, when Winthrop found out about the new book Dr. Wright was writing, Winthrop demanded to be credited about his research. But this would risk Dr. Wright's fame, so she concluded in murdering him by luring him into the football field and attacked him with a javelin. In [[Stanley Chandler|Judge Chandler]]'s court, Dr. Wright faced trial and was given a fitting thirty year prison sentence for her heartless actions.
