Back to Basics is an case in Criminal Case that is set to be featured as the Forty-third case of Season 1 and the forty-third case in the series overall. It is is the first to take place in the University district of Waterborough.


After disbanding the drug trafficking scheme in Farmville, Chief Diaz sent the player and Dunkin to the Waterborough University to make sure the students are safe. Two months after they were sent, Chief Diaz informed them that a student was found dead on the campus lawn. There, they collected the body of a student named Abbie Robinson.
