Avery was the victim's father.
He was caught by Chief Connie Tolentino and was eventually incriminated as the killer by the player. He was immediately sent to court and underwent a trial the player did not watch.
He would again talk to Jackson Walters and the player in prison. When asked about the arson Christian witnessed, he said he had no idea what they were talking about and that he would have not killed Christian if he knew about the arson, which sparked the team's curiosity. When pressed for further details however, he refused to talk.
