Ashton was born in Townville but moved to Spain when he was just a baby and he learnt to speak only Spanish. There, he got a deep interest in floral design, bouquets and botany. Being already an adult, he decided to return to his hometown and flew to Townville to start a new life there. When he found out that there was an event such as Green Year Parade, he made up his mind and participated only to be the parade's winner. He was the one who would probably win the next year but unfortunately, he died and wasn't able to be one of the contestants.

- Buried With Roses, Case #18 in Townville:
The player, Evan Day and Gino Reina went to a plant nursery to investigate a murder reported by the shop's owner and Gino's friend, Lila Uliana. The dead body of Ashton was found inside a big flowerpot buried in gardening soil. Lila explained that Ashton was going to participate in Green Year Parade and that he'd won the previous year. This meant that Ashton was one of the targets of the activists who were protesting against the event. Since he was the one who was cutting the most flowers and this resulted in activists blackmailing him and offering him money just so that he wouldn't participate in the parade.
After investigating the murder case, the police arrested Lila Uliana for Ashton's murder. Her motive was purely activism; she put an end to his life so that he'd stop putting an end to flowers' ones. For having killed Ashton, Judge Gonzalez sentenced her to 30 years in jail with no chance for parole and sessions with a psychologist for the 2 subsequent years.
