Asher Woolf (1987-2018) was a suspect in the murder investigations of pilot Jerome Mortimer in Welcome to Aurelia! (Case #1 of Aurelia) and fighter Stephen Dean in Fight to the Death (Case #4 of Aurelia), and a quasi-suspect in We'll Drink to That (Case #2 of Aurelia) before being murdered in A Lash of Scorpions (Case #5 of Aurelia).

The killer would turn out to be drunken youth and the Scorpions' leader, Vince Flanders.
Vince explained that he killed Asher because he discovered his true identity as a police informant. Outraged that Asher betrayed him so easily, he ordered Asher to meet him on the docks. When Asher arrived, he pushed him down and placed scorpions on him and let them sting him to death in a brutal manner before leaving Asher’s corpse on the docks. At the trial, Evelyn Rodriguez confronted Vince about his sadistic actions and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
