Role in cases
- Dead End, Case #17 in Townville:
The police was investigating the murder of Jared Mangrim in a luxury train when Albert was spotted by Evan Day around the crime scenes. He claimed to be the train driver and said that Jared liked him and visited him very often at the station. Later on, they discovered that Jared had been sending love text messages to Albert, who only read them and never replied. Evan mistook it for Albert being in the closet and in a relationship with Jared, but in fact it was the victim who had fallen in love with the queer-phobic Albert. He complained about this behavior, saying that Jared would go with his girlfriend and flirt with him. Jared had even reached the extent of giving money to Albert out of the blue.
The investigation reached its climax and it was proved that Albert was in fact the one who had murdered Jared Mangrim. Albert confesed and explained that he had kissed Jared that morning to fool him so that he would lower his guard thus getting a chance to stab him with a rampuri knife. He had also raised the temperature at the carriage before killing Jared so that the cleaner would take off his overall and leave it at the crime scene, where it would get stained with blood. At his trial, he said that he had carried out the murder because he was tired of Jared molesting him even though he had told him he was not interested in same-sex relationships. Judge Gonzalez sentenced Albert to 16 years in jail with parole in 10.
