Due to the great work on the last case, Geneva Porter invites the whole team to lunch at her own house. When the team arrives they knock on her door to find no response. The door was open so they let themselves in, they walked into the hallway to unfortunately find Geneva's dead body laying at the end of her staircase.
The team first spoke to Melinda Baker, Geneva's cook, who seemed to have motive and the opportunity to commit the crime. However, once the team interrogated four other suspects it was clear ex-employee Joel Klein was the killer.
Once Joel is in police custody he admits to his crime. From his point of view, Geneva was corrupt and was attempting to rig the vote so Morgan Baker would win. He was finding more evidence that would incriminate Geneva for the crime, but once she found out about what he was doing, she fired him immediately. Joel was furious and arranged a meeting with Geneva at her house. He knew that she had a fear of the dark so when Geneva arrived he called her upstairs, this is when he jumped out at her dressed in a Crow Costume. She was frightened so much that she slipped down the stairs, caught her head in one of the banisters snapping her neck causing her to die instantly. Joel was sent to life in prison.
The player and Christina were forced to check up on Melinda Baker while Rick Wade walked to the station screaming for help. It turned out that Rick's partner Veronica Howell was having a mental breakdown in the town square and neeed assistance fast, once the player arrives they find Veronica passed out in a fountain drowning.
